Srinagar: November 30, 2017 (KNO) : Paying rich tributes to the slain 5 martyrs of Pakharpora Pulwama and Saghipora Sopore encounters, chairman All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Syed Ali Geelani said that our youth lay their lives to end the age old slavery of their nation, putting a huge responsibility on our shoulders to honor these sacrifices and take the movement to its logical end. Criticizing the criminal silence of the world community, Geelani Sahab said that their insensitivity and unconcern is the sole reason for this unabated bloodshed. In a statement released to the press on Tuesday, pro-freedom leader said that the world forums, who stand witness to our dispute, act as mute spectators, thereby legitimizing and legalizing the brutalities unleashed in this region for the last 70 years. He said that had these super powers acted to their tall claims, India could not have dared to continue its repression and peace would have been ensured since long. Paying glorious tributes to the martyrs, Geelani Sahab said that, youth are on the forefront of the movement whether laying their precious lives, or livelihood, or facing the hardships in jails. He said that they bravely and willingly offer their today for our tomorrow. Pro-freedom leader said that this arrogance, haughtiness and persistent denial can’t hold water for long and India has to come to terms with the writing on the wall, lest this unresolved and unaddressed volcano can erupt and burst anytime—engulfing millions of people in this region. Geelani Sahab said that our young generation which is daring Indian autocratic, illegal and forced occupation and warned that the tsunami of human heads especially youth is always uncontrollable and unstoppable.(KNO)
